I finished disassembling my 67 fastback last weekend and placed it on 4 jack stand while I finish making a rolling stand for it. Is it unusual for the car to not sit squarely on all four jackstands. At the moment it is resting on three stands and the right rear side is hovering about 1/4 to 1/2 inch above the fourth stand. Is it common? Anyone else had this experience.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Brian

I had that problem (but mine was the RF rail) I verified level with a string setup. Then I spaced out the stand with some plywood (3/8). My floor has a low spot right there.
These are old unibody cars so you never know if or when they got tweaked a bit.
Saw a 400 firebird once that had twisted almost 11/2" from the torque of the motor.
