I borrowed a battery tester and it showed the battery is good (no bad cells). I pulled the alternator this am and went looking for a parts store that could check it since I was getting screwy results with my voltmeter. At the first three stops the guys working the counter could not operate the tester (Go figure) I made the final stop at the Champion store and they tested the alternator and BINGO it sux. replacement 75 amp alternator = $110 plus tax. The counter guys said if I can find my original receipt, from last year - even though I bought that one from Bumper to Bumper, they might be able to give me some credit on the warranty due to the fact that they buy parts from the same warehouse as B2B. cool, I know I still have the receipts in my "parts" folder. ;)
