Research nets split results, so I post it again hoping for a clear cut answer. When using the Felpro intake gasket set (the ones with the blue stuff bonded to the gaskets), do you guys/girls recommend using gask-a-cinche, or installing them dry. I intend to use RTV on the ends (NO CORK HORROR STORIES HERE THANKS!). While I'm at it, for those of you running aluminum valve covers w/ Felpro cork gaskets...did you gask-a-cinche the gaskets to the valve covers? What about to the heads? Sorry for the lame questions, but it's better to be safe than sorry eh?

Intake: Use RTV sealant around all water ports, and on the ends (toss the end corks like you said)

Head gasket: DO NOT use sealant

Valve cover: User descretion. I use none, but use have installed studs into my heads with chromed "trick looking" nuts on the top side. Makes installing my Edlebrock covers a piece of cake.

I used the Felpro gaskets #1250(I think). I used gask-a-cinche and RTV around the water ports and the ends... no problems.

You're right on the money Shannon. I use Gaskacinch around the water ports on both sides, and RTV on the end seals.

I would Gaskacinch the gaskets to the VC's like was said earlier. It can avoid a PITA when trying to remove the gaskets later if they're not sealed to the heads.

RTV around the water ports and for the ends of the intake. I use gasket cement on all valve cover to gaskets, makes removal of the valve covers at a later date much easier.
