Need to change out the gas line from the pump to the tank. Should I go with a prefab or custom bend the tube myself. Willing to take any suggestions you may have on this question and what you feel is the best metal to use.

The prebent stainless lines are great. The ones I have used have only required minor tweaking. IMHO, they are well worth the money.

Just as joe69 says, the pre-bent worked great for me in my 65. I have heard that removing the DS rear tire and shock make it easier. I monkey'd around with out knowing this. R&R took about an hour on my back with the car on stands.

Jus' so ya know. They ship the long line by bending it in the middle, so you will have to straighten it out. It is not that hard to do.

I also replaced the fuel line in my 64.5 and it was a piece of cake. The prebent lines are good quality.
