Since the paint stripper I have does not work well at all below 60 degrees, I've been forced to use sanding disks to remove paint from the body panels and engine compartment of the 65 FB. Today was in the mid-60s and weather is projected to continue above 60 through mid-week. Hooray! I can get to all those irregular shapes and crevices that sanding would not get to. A little stripper brushed on, leave it in the above 60 degree weather, and hopefully the paint will vanish and allow proceeding to the prep and paint stage! It sure would be nice to turn over the engine! The radiators been out and fuel lines disconnected. I'd love to hear what the new dual Borlas will sound like on the tricked out I6 head/cam combination. Alas, still weeks away. :(
