We needed to adjust the fit of the aftermarket driver's side fender on Trouble and it looked like it was going to need welding to do it. One of my friends (who owns the 65 'vert we just painted) used to build stainless steel cabinets and fixtures for restaurants. He's a topnotch welder, but even better, he knows how to work metal without welding. He was able to hammer, massage, crimp, etc., the fender until it fits beautifully with the hood and door and all the correct body sculpture is there--no welding or bondo necessary. So a $50 fender (junkyard bargain) worked out just great.
