I spent all day working on DT, and while I may not maintain the feverish pace some of you do, I did manage to get everything out (including the tranny) and left the motor in ready to be pulled next Saturday AM by simply removing two bolts.

I updated the website with some photos of the job, none are terribly interesting......but I wanted to share two here.

1. This is obviously not the ideal way for a tranny to come out. While I was trying to lower it with my floorjack, it got stuck on the headers /forums/images/icons/frown.gif, and then the jack stopped working properly. It would not go up or down. So I had to yank the jack out and let the tranny float softly to the ground.

2. I was so overjoyed with getting the Tranny out, that I quickly un-hooked the cherry picker chain attached to my intake that was holding the motor steady while I was yanking on the tranny, and jacked it up and pulled out the jack stands.

After all 4 stands were out and DT was on the ground...I look up at the hood and look was is sticking centered perfectly through the hole the PO cut. That could have been a costly doofus for me it I didn't have a holey hood /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
