FINALLY someone noticed almost a weeks worth of work I did by hand to that thing.

The horse is repop standard Shelby grille emblem.

However... the grille itself I worked pretty hard on. I didn't like the cast in brackets left behind when you remove the large running horse from the center. So, I removed the cast center brackets from it by hand by drilling out as much of it I could then hand filing down the rest. Also had to make sure the pattern matched up and the vertical lines were same width as all the rest. It took many hours in my basement over a garbage can filing small bits of pot metal away till right. It's way cleaner and one of those things only '66 owners can spot if looking hard enough.

My 66 GT convertible. The car is black and white. It is a buck tag, 4 speed GT car with deluxe Pony Interior, AC, PS, rally pac, console, stock 4100 carburetor, and it's still rocking it's Kelsey Hayes front disc brakes. I recently restomoded the car with Tremec t5z, center force II clutch….

Still got that 4sp trans?
