Howdy all.

First of all, I still have not heard from many of you about
whether you are coming.

*Please* at least email me ([email protected])to say you are or aren't so
that we can try to plan a little better.

Thanks to those of you who have already responede here, or on the
forum. I will repost this message there too.

I just talked to a lady who works for the Village of Lombard,
and I was told that we should try to meet in the parking lot
of the Fifth Third bank on St. Charles Road. It is 2 blocks
west of Main Street on the south side of the road.

The lot is sort of behind the bank, but the cars are visible
from the street, and the lot is usually busy.

There is no guarantee, but she said that she would tell the
gentleman watching the lot to be on the look out for us, and
save us a few spots together. Tell him you are with the
Chicago Vintage Mustang Club when you get there.

Now here's the problem. This week's band is the "Cryan' Shames"
and they are expecting a large crowd.

Hopefully, we can get someone to go to the bank early and make
a showing, so that they will know we are coming. She said you
could leave your car there hours ahead of time if you like and
come back later, or just hang out in the neighborhood too.

I personally cannot get there before 6 PM, and I'm not sure I
want them to see my POS convertible first anyways. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

But if we do not get a lot of cars to show up by around 6PM, we
will probably not get to park together and wind up scattered.

They will not save it for us exclusively!

Hope to see you all there!
