Does anyone have any experience, tips or prererably pictures of aluminum seats installed in a 64-66 mustang? Did you use the seat pans? Modify them? remove them and use square tube??

I need mine to move for different drivers. When not on the track another seat will be in the car, so the pans had to remain intact (they are lowered). As well as the side mounts shown, there is a back brace going to the rollbar. Mount is on top slider I had, but could be mounted direct to pan.

Great pics Bill. I'm in the process of putting some Kirkey seats in my car as well(Kirkey is only an hour from where I live and I can buy "factory direct") In fact, a good friend used to work at Kirkey and has welded up many of those seats. Those pics are almost exactly what I've planned out. Happy to see something I have in the R&R stages of my mind will actually work ::
How did you mount the back support to your roll bar? I have a couple pics showing how others have done it but I'm always interested in seeing others.
Thanks,

Dave
