Hey Folks, for the last couple years I've been dreaming of a Stang cruise from up here down for the Knotts show, but I haven't done it. I attended the show last year (flew down) and it was FABULOUS! A great time to be had with 30+ fellow VMFers.

Sooo ... how 'bout it this year? How many of you NW VMFers would be up for cruising down to Knotts this April? We could link up with the Sacramento gang and take part in that leg of Mustangs Accross America as well? Maybe link up with the Mustangs Northwest caravan too. It would mean a week or so off, but I'd love to try for it if enough of you are up for it. Wadayasay?

Would there be a "rescue" truck or something like the bikers have? Or would that be a tow truck? Not that anyone would need it or anything......"wink"

My husband and I would like to go this year. His Mach *might* be ready to go by the end of April. I know it sounds kind of ridiculous, but a big issue I have with going and taking my car is worrying about it at motel(s) along the way and especially in LA. I'm afraid I'd have to sleep in it every night to guard my shaker. And where would I park it while attending the show? Coming up to Seattle for the Pony Trails was hard enough on me, I don't know if I can take LA in my car! I am also considering driving the "D" code down--a much quieter and less conspicuous ride, but nowhere near as "cool" as my Cobra Jet.

We could circle the wagons, and take shifts posting guard? And "No" It doesn't sound silly..... I think we'd all have a concern, wheather you have an alarm or not. I get nervous anytime I can't keep one eye on the car.... sometimes it kinda makes you wonder if its worth it or not...???

Ya know Ken, that "circle the wagons and post a guard" idea isn't too far fetched! If there were enough of us on the cruise, it would be no big deal for folks to take shifts watching after the herd. I like it!
