Are you talking about the vintage (rust) red color, or the new color?

I just had the original (date code 7-65) Koni shocks from my '66 Shelby restored. >$800 for the set of 4. You can go to the Koni North America web site and link to their services. They may be able to help with the correct color.

good luck

Something I saved from another time...<blockquote><font class="small">In reply to:</font><hr>

Having recently had my original (1965 dated) front shocks rebuilt by Koni, I have some information on the paint color. Koni uses Plasti-kote Fast dry super enamel Bright Orange T-31 for the classic shocks. My shocks were not completely dried before they were shipped and needed to be repainted. Koni sent me a can of the paint to correct the problem.

Virginia Mustang - rattle can for $7.95 + shipping. It is the newer brighter color not the older brownish red.
