I need to rebuild the rocker assembly for a 250.

Ive worked on these in the past but I really dont know what Im doing.

The last one I worked on a few months ago was in pretty rough shape, I had to heat the rockers and pedestals to get them off the shaft.

On reassembly, how much interference should there be when sliding the rockers and pedestals on teh shaft?

I have a new set of rockers, are these honed to fit?

Any tutorials on how to do this?

It's been a while since I worked on the rockers for a Y-block or an FE (never a 6) but the rockers have to slide on easily or they will gall on the shaft. The pedestals are always a tight fit but heat should not be necessary. Let me try to remember the sequence- pedestal, washer, rocker, washer, spring, washer, rocker, washer, yada yada.....!
