We had a great HOT day at Landmark Ford and the Chicago VMF dominated the 68's. Jeff-68FB428CJ with the 68 428CJ Fastback took first place and Randy-Palmaceae with his great 68 hard top won 3rd place. It was a very fun day for us and even had the kids come out for a while. I Got some good prizes with the raffles and that made my day also besides all the great cars there to look over. My fastback still needs more work as I brought mine as well just for fun,not quite show ready yet :(

Congrats again to Jeff and Randy and Yes Jeff and I wore our Chicago VMF Shirts proudly. ::

I echo Bill's comments. It was warm on the black top of Landmark Ford, but we had a great time nonetheless. I enjoyed talking with everyone and seeing all of their great cars. Although attendence was down from last year, the quality was high. Thunderbirds were particularly plentiful, with several worthy of first place. Their were some great old 1966 Fairlanes and a really nice Torino convertable (66 or 67). 1968 Mustangs also were well represented (something I always like to see). Consequently, I was proud to have one among such great competition.

It's unfortunate that the Landmark and Bourbonnais shows were on the same day because I would have like to see everyone in one place. Maybe next year.
