Howdy all.

I would like to make the next official get together the Stallions Gate
Landmark Ford "All Ford Car Show".

It will be Sunday August 10, 2003 at Landmark Ford (next to the leaning tower
YMCA) at 6200 w. Touhy in Niles, IL.

Now this is a real show - meaning if you want to park amongst the other
Mustangs on the dealer lot, you need to sign up and enter the show.

I think it is an MCA judged show - though I really was not able to tell from
their website. Anyone know about this?

Pre-registration is over on Aug 1, so do it now if you want to save a few bucks!

I have heard from a few people that the club up there has changed for the better
recently, and I would like to go see for myself too.

I hear there is a Target immediately next door to the car dealer. Lets plan on
parking our non-car-show cars there. Maybe we can even get a small crowd to
come look at the "projects" and daily drivers too.

So lets see if we can't make friends with the "other" Chicago Mustang club, and
make it more fun for all of us!

Anybody here considering registering with the show? I wasn't thinking about doing it due to the large time commitment having to be there all day.

I was in the show last year and have registered for this year's show. The voting is participant voting except for the ShowRoom Class. That class is voted by MCA judges on a point scale. You do not register for ShowRoom class but the judges select about six vehicles from the lot and place them inside the dealership showroom. I was lucky enough to get selected last year. The showroom was air conditioned while the lot was sunny, humid, and 95 degrees.
Hope to see some of you at the show. It is an easy place to find. Touhy Rd. east from 294 Tollway about 5 miles. Just east of the Leaning Tower "Y" ;on the north side of Touhy.
