Heads up.

I've been waiting on a Stainless Monte Carlo bar since January. I had one ordered through Restoremustangs.com. NPD told me they had them in stock a few weeks back. Yesterday they figured out that the computer is wrong and they are out of them and have 5 on backorder. I called Branda and they said they had 2 straight stainless monte carlo bars in stock. They also said the manufacturer was no longer making them, which would explain why the backorders at the other two parts places never got filled.

I bought one of the two they still had. That leaves one for one of you guys, if anyone is interested. I think it was like $60.00. The guy at Branda said they just didn't sell very well. He wasn't sure why. Might be because they are more expensive.

Yeah it's nuts alright. It hasn't held me up yet though. WIth luck the engine goes back in tomorrow. Next week I can get the radiator in and hook everything up and try to start it. If that works, It'll be at the muffler shop for a day. I'd probably be ready to mount the bar next Saturday.

I think I'll pass on the spreader bar. If I need to move the shock towers out a bit I'll just chain one to a tree and the other to the back of my Tahoe. I've been looking for an excuse to use the low range on the 4WD anyway. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
