Does anybody have a schematic for the wiring of an '87-93 5.0 Mustang charging system that they could email or fax to me?
I'm in real desperate need of one, so please help if you can!
Thanks in advance,
Jim

System probably has a one wire alternator. Don't have any details, but spend some time on the internet. I purchased the POWERMASTER 140 amp alternator, and have had a dim charge light indication since I put the car together. After troublehsooting and doing some research on the WWW, I have determined several things.
1) The regulator and other components for the one wire alternators are very inexpensive
2) They are still servicable (regulator, diode pack and trios)
3) there are soem websites there that provide some good info on newer alternators. (Search on Yahoo under diode trios, and look at the webpage matches. Soem streetrod guy in Utah has got a good description of the new one wire alternator operation).

Hope this helps....
