Late model electrical problem...

My friend's '87 GT convertible is having some electrical problems, the turn signals, reverse lights, convertible top, and the ac blower have stopped working. We checked the fuses and they were all good. And another funny thing about it, the turn signals work when the hazard switch is on but not when the turn signal is on. Any ideas?

Yup, it burned up one of the fusable links. The e-flashers are wired directly and are not fused so as to work when everything else quits, which they did.

Also check the connections where the fusable links connect at the positive side of the starter solenoid. If you are realy lucky it's just the connection, more likely the link itself though.
