Today, I cleaned up the windshield lips (front and back). Found one post to be a rivet, so I removed it. Found what was bondo in the bottom corners of the front, and dug out all the junk, and found the original brazing. Kewl! I'll fill up the holes later: no rust to speak of.

Removed part of the headliner to see why my topmost rear view mirror screw wouldn't screw into anything, and there's no housing to accept it! Thanks, CT, for the fine photo of what should be there. Mine shows no sign of having any structure to receive the screw.

Oh, and found that both coil covers turned to dust, literally, once I started to remove the undercoating. Thank goodness they aren't structural, and are repro'ed. Replace and forget. Just about done removing all the undercoating: the engine compartment is the only thing left!

I personally think you should go with the twirling flamingo that was offered tonight.

That sig pix it titally sexist and I am titally against it!
