After my recent bad experience with a seller here I had come up with some things to look for as warning signs. Hopefully someone else can learn from my mistake.
Check their profile for these items:
Registration date, If its real recent look a little deeper
Completeness of profile, If only minimum info then thats a warning bell.
Look at past posts, If all are just to sell something then look out. they are not here to participate in the real spirit of the VMF.
If I find all the above then I will not buy from them.
This applies to individuals not the many fine buisnesses that advertise here.

I was considering purchasing some 65' fastback door glass but I decided not to because it was his first post. I had a gut feeling about a newbie with one post and prices lower than I would expect. I don't have anything bad to say about that person but I just feel good now that I didn't go forward with the purchase just in case something did happen.

Thanks,
Ron
