Ok, I got a few emails saying yes my acceleration rod is a v8 and some saying no, its a IL6, heres a few pics. Now duke it out, and help me out. originally, I posted that I dont seem to have full travel on the carb when the pedal is to the floor.

V8 V8 V8. The 6 cyl goes "way over" there to the other side, since the carb linkage is on the passenger side of a six banger. Does the rod move cleanly all the way to the firewall. :eek: You do know, you need another rod to reach the carb ::

8, because it's on the driver's side. You just need the other "arm."
