I just went from SD 4 1/2 mid eyes with 1" lowering blocks to GW reverse eyes with Del-A-Lum bushings I got from @LastDeadLast without the blocks. Not surprisingly raised the rear an inch. The car has got to gain a few pounds before weigh in at the Cam Challenge this summer and that should help level things out. 25" tires on 17x8" wheels. All the front end stuff in my sig.
Front: stock 390 GT Springs, Rear: 4-1/2 Standard Eye Leaf. Bilsteins all around.
225/45/17 Indy 500’s on front 25” with 17/7 Rev Classic 100 Wheels, 4” B/S.
235/50/17 Indy’s 26.3” on rear with 17/8 Rev Wheels 5” B/S.
Yeah, me either. This is all about personal preference though. Some like stock with a slightly nose high attitude and plenty of clearance underneath, some like a nose down and rear up drag car look. I happen to like dead level and just enough air underneath to clear mother frickin' speed bumps.
Here's mine. Stock 65-66 GT front coils, stock 67 390 GT rear springs (with Traction Masters™), Arning drop, 1" front bar. Autocrosses well, comfortable ride, rock steady on the highway.
620 -1" coils, 1" Arning drop, 4 leaf HD rear with -2" blocks, 215/60-15 on 15x7 4.25" BS in these pics. Later went to 245/60-15 on the rear. These are the old pics. When I go live again I will likely be 16x8 all around with 225/50 and 245/50.
For inquiring minds. SoT non coil over front. Bilstein Sports all around. SD 4.5 leaf mid eye leaf and 215/60/15 all around. Front springs are SD .621", 600# with half loop cut off
No, like the front there's a matching rear. Street, Sport and Track. The Bilsteins are amazing, I can go blasting down a bumpy washboard road like it was a perfectly flat road. I don't think twice about road condition
