Ahhh. I can see the end of my current project. I finally got the wheel spacers from Maximum Motorsports for the front wheels of my car. For those that don't know, I'm doing a full Big Kit suspension installation. The Upper Control Arms were interfering with my Edelbrock 454's when I turned the wheels.
A combination of grinding some of the UCA away coupled with the 3/16 custom spacers from Maximum Motorsports gave me enough room so that this was no longer a problem.
I also had to cut about 1/2 inch off the top of the bump stop on the strut rod so that it wouldn't interfere with the bottom brake hose for the Rod & Custom Motorsports brake kit conversion. It still works properly, hitting the spindle and stopping the wheels from "overturning", but now it doesn't hit the brake caliper/brake hose first.
What a pain.
By the weekend I should be golden!
Yipee!
