I have been thru withdrawals.....and off line.......early August
t-storm had lightning strike/power surge and fried motherboard in computer....garage door opener....and heat/air
electric board......finally got parts and installation from Dell....
trying to play catch-up here would be insane!!......I dont post
much here at VMF but just browsing and getting ideas from
everyone...well just say I missed this forum!!!.....
Be sure you unplug computer and phone line during electrical
storms.....tech rep said no surge protector is lightning proof!!

Same thing happened to us a couple years ago... took out the computer, 2 TV's, a VCR, and some other stuff. Lightning is pretty loud when it hits your house /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
