I want to install the lokar kickdown, throttle cable an bracket on my '69 Mach, maybe even a new set of pedals.

I found cables on eday and they are "lokar like", copys of lokar cables. You guys think this is a good idea?

Thanks
Rc

What is the brand? Personally, I would use the Lokar cables. There are several of us here who have them and I've never heard any complaints.

I used the Lokar C4 kick down cable and it does the job, easy install.
Keep an eye out for the original on ebay, they come up once in a while at a good price

I, too, would just cough up the $ for the real thing. I'm just not usually one to throw money at parts that I may not be happy with later. My daughter has the Lokar kickdown cable on her '69's C4, and I have the Lokar TV Cable for the AOD in my '66. The quality of the Lokar cables is top notch and they work fantastic.

The real thing is not THAT expensive. I have the tranny kickdown cable on my 73 vert. Great kit.
