I have these Aussie heads I will not be using for at least a year maybe 2.
Will it hurt them to store them in a conatainer filled with oil.
I have the perfect conatainer I could put them in and cover them in oil. But I don't know if this will do anything weird to them.

seems to me other then making them slippery as hell..they should be fine..but I would me more inclined to spray them with a fine oil then seal them tightly in some plastic bags..

A year or so ago, who I had Delilah's engine rebuilt, I knew it would be a while before I could drop it back into the car. My mechanic sprayed a light coat of oil all over the log block, a short shot into each cylinder, then wrapped the whole thing up in yards and yards of heavy duty plastic wrap, looked like a big oily baked potato. When it came time to fire it up everything was just fine. It sat for over a year.

There's a spray called "silkolene" that people use to lube their motorcycle chains....it is clear and waxy

and will wash off with common solvent....

spray and set on a shelf.
