Can I use a power steering gear box on a manually steering car? It's a '67. Anyone tried it? If it works, how tough is it?

I have the PS box in my MS car. It is harder to turn, say in a parking lot, but other than that, it's just fine. I love a tight suspension and steering, so this setup suits my driving style perfectly.

One of my wifes cars is a '68 with p/r st. One of the lines
started to leek so I disconnected it for a day or so. She told
me she liked it better as a manual car! She said she could feel
the road better.

Only difference between the two is the ratio, will be a little harder to turn with a power box used for manual.

Make sure you change the steering arm but yes that same ratio (PS) was used in non-power GT's
