As some of you know, the Mid-Atlantic Chapter (MAC) had a Mini-Feed on Saturday. It might not have been as big as the real deal, but it was just as fun. Got to visit with Nick, Frank, Gregg, and Jack (and their SWMBO's and kids of course).

Nick is an awesome host and well worth the 2 and a half hour drive. I think everyone had a great time (even the kids) despite the cloudy/rainy weather.

So without further ado, here are the pics:

And some videos (just right-click and save as):

Video 1 (7.7MB)

Video 2 (6.5 MB)

Video 3 (2.7 MB)

Video 4 (15.4 MB)

BUT WAIT ------ THERE'S MORE

Why am I stupid? Becuase while showing Nick my CF4 Movie, he uploaded a few clips to his site via FTP. Of course he asked why I didn't have it on my site already. Because our connections at work (despite having a T1 line) are around 80k/sec. So anything larger than 5MB times out on me. So today I'm trying to get these videos loaded when it dawns on me. The clouds disperse and the sun comes out. I should have FTP on my site. So a few clicks later, the vids are loaded (one's even 15MB). What a shmuck.

Neil,

Great pics. Why does everyone use the flash on the back of my head? I'll have to wait until I get home to download the vids. I'm "forbidden" to download them from here!

You missed the rainy burnout contest! Had a great time. Thanks for hosting the event Nick.

Neil left for home before we started the burnouts in the rain.

Gregg made some noise with the Durango
Frank spun 1st and 2nd with the 01 GT
Nick pull out the 65 and spun 1, 2 and 3 up the driveway
Frank's wife spun 1st

EDIT
TK also made some sort of weird noise eminate from the front tires of his car when he left.

We also pulled out the Monster truck and did some wheeling including pulling the wheels off the ground in an off-camber hill attack and then again on a decent. Frank's kids liked it...I think Frank was worried ;)

Okay, this is really creepy, 'cause it was almost like I was looking in the mirror! TK, are you my long-lost twin - if not who's that handsome lookin' devil?

That would be an understatement! My son woke me up at 3AM to tell me all about it all over again. I'm pretty sure he doesn't even realize I was there!

Me? Worried? Nahhhhh! Just because I was trying to mentally calculate the downward vector of a 4000 lb truck at an angle of inclination of 40* against the short side of the wheelbase.....What makes you think I was worried!?

Actually I was more worried that Paula was going to freak out when we got out of the truck! She must really trust you - she never even mentioned it!

I missed going to this mini-CF by one lousy week! :(

What? No peek-chures of Roxy and Spike the Cat?

BTW, good photoshopping of the video of Nick's DT running. I still don't believe it actually runs. :p All the times I've visited, the engine has never run. :(
