Hey Forum- Looking to put some "Mag 500" type wheels on my 1968 Mustang. I would like to stay with closer to stock look of a 15x7 wheel. The spec sheet from Wilwood shows 7.04 plus .080… from center of spindle to rim, or complete diameter 14.16 (barrel size) to be safe. I have contacted both Legendary and Vintiques and nobody is able to tell (or will call me back) me if the clearance is enough. Anyone out there have a wheel they could measure for me?

Think you are correct regarding the Vintiques, and I see now the American Racing Mag 500 ish looking rim is just 14" so it will not work either. BUT the Legendary wheel 15' x 7 Mag 500 nets out at 14 3/8" which is plenty of room based on the spec above. Now just need to figure out the right tire to accompany the wheels.... Hmmmm.

From Wilwood site for the 6 piston front set up. Note in red- "may fit 15" wheels" Getting the actual inside diameter from wheel companies is not easy. A guy from CJ's went and measured the 15" Legacy Mag 500 wheel for me... I had one shipped to just be sure it is good, before buying all four. But if measurements are right, it should fit.
