Hey there,

Quick question, I hope...

One of my headlight adjusting buckets was destroyed today in an accident.... Before you ask.... When loading my car, parked besides a road, I dropped one of them and seconds later, a truck ran over it.... It is FLAT now... I know, major Doofus!!

So, how do I identify which is the side I still have LH or RH? The Mustangs Unlimited catalog lists them as being different or at least they list them separately.

I need to order one new one, so if anyone can tell me which is which and how I can tell... I'd be eternally grateful.

Thanks...and STOP LAUGHING!

I mean the metal dish!

Fit and trial won't work as I don't have the other headlight parts here.....

There should be a square hole punched into the bucket. With the square hole upwards (in other words looking at the bucket from the front, the square hole will be closest to the top of the fender) locate the adjusting tab. It will be a hook shaped protrusion one one side of the bucket. The driver side protrusion will be on the left, the passenger side will be on the right.

I have a rectengular shaped hole, two sort of square holes, the meatl from those holes form the tabs the adjustment screws are supposed to be in.

If I point the rectangle up, the adjustment tabs are on the lower left and right corner.

I guess I'm either stupid or tired, but I need more to go on...

But thanks still...

You didn't find the letters stamped LH or RH? Some had them. I think its on the convex side. A PO discovered that either will fit but the incorrect one rotates the headlight bulb weird.
