What do you guys think of the manifold adapters, going from 2bbl to 4 bbl carb. Can't really afford a new manifold right now, but I have a few 4bbl carbs in the garage. I was thinking of getting the adapter and going 4bbl, but also thought, how much volume can it take, and will there be any restriction to the flow, or am I over thinking it. I would imagine the 351c 2bbl manifold would flow just fine.

Stock aluminum intakes from 80's 5.0's run under $100 and you can find them in the junk yard all day long for $35.

"Stock aluminum intakes from 80's 5.0's" won't fit a 351C.

I've never been convinced those adapters improve flow much.

It will run like crap. You're trying to cobble something together. You are far better off staying with the 2V carb. Wait until you have a 4V intake before putting a 4V carb on.

I'd stick with your 2bbl til you can afford a new intake. Those adapters are garbage IMO.
