Hi all! I just recieved my Marti report and had only one real surprise. My wife's car came originaly with a "white paint stripe" as a factory option. Anyone out there who can show me a picture of one? (I understand the "C" stripe was an 68 option, and I know where the GT stripe went. .. .looking for a picture or source for correct placement of "white paint stripe"?)

I'm sure you mean the accent stripe, which ran the entire length of the car. from about 3/4" from the headlight body, back to and including the rear 1/4 panel extension. It was an option on 67 and 68. The width was a shade thinner than 1/8" It was placed about a 1/4" below the top character line in the panels. Am sure there was some variation on this stripe. I had the accent stripes on a 66 bought new and the lines were not well done.

Actually the 67-68 pin stripe was 5/32 to 3/16 inchs wide depending on where & when it was applied . Plus it was applied with a roller pin not a brush , that's why the ends were squared off .
