Hello,

What is the max rim width I can fit on a 67 coupe in the back? With out cutting and hammering the hell out of the wheel well.

I believe a 9" with 4.5 backspacing is the biggest?

Mustangs and Fords November 2000 issue published research done by Halibrand on rim sizes and backspacing that would fit on early Mustangs. It also included recommended tire sizes. According to this info 17x9 with a 5.5" bs will fit.
