A number of the regulars from the old site seem to have disappeared over the last few months. A couple of former regulars that I have missed are Leer13 (a good kid, I thought, in spite of anti-cop rantings), and Plessm, our buddy who had to pull his stolen coupe out of a canal.

Who else has been a no-show since the forum moved? I know some of you are using new logons, but I think I have most of them accounted for.

Glenn - a few of us were wondering about Leer13 last weekend at the Pensacola show. I wonder if the lack of a driver's license has cooled his mustang chat.

D- I've been well. Looking out on a beautiful morning with the sun just starting to stream thru the fog and melt 3 inches of fresh snow. I might even get a little Mustang work done this weekend!

You?

I've noticed similar things. I think there are a lot of people who's posting has slowed down on the new forum for whatever reason. I know my posting is much less than it was.

and he's here and accounted for ... he posted as hottarod for a long time, took a break, and then came back as JohnnyMac. He's hottarod again on the new forum.

I agree. I know my posts are far less than they used to be. I think it's due to me being busier, but mostly I think it's because there are far more posters on this forum, and I've always felt like if I can't add something, don't just post the same info that's already been posted ... and the posts are getting answered already by way more people. Probably the same reason a lot of the other VMFers post totals are lower than they used to be.

Glenn,
I found Leer13 last time we wondered where he was, shortly before we switched to the new format, and I'm sure we can dig him up again. Back then he said he'd been busy with school and was also thinking of selling his race car. Camachinist was especially sympathetic about that possibility. He came up for air briefly that time and disappeared again. ssoooo....

Tallyho hasn't been seen in a while, nor has Ron Whyte. Dad67 dropped out of sight just as he brought the car home from the paint shop for his son...we never did find out the son's reaction. Stephanie still hasn't made it over.

Has GasPumps made it over to the new forum? I can't remember...my Alzheimers is kicking in again...

GasPumps is here but I believe under a new name. His last post had to do with plating near San Diego around the 20th of March.

DUring one of the last few day's rice fest (remember the trash can), I mentioned that I wondered what happened to Leer13. He had such a hatred for ricers that is was comical. Also, I wonder sometimes why 67dad never came back to let us know how it went. Myself, for some reason, I am in here more than I have been for the past 6 months. Must be spring fever.

This new forum has changed the ambience from Cheers Bar (small, everybody knows your name) to Gilley's (three acres of concrete prairie) and the old banter just gets lost in the hubbub. Maybe everyone will calm down and stop tying to boost their posting numbers and the beast will become manageable once again.

And while I'm ranting, maybe the new guys will use more specific headings/subject phrases. Some of those are so obscure I just dont even look anymore.
