I recently acquired a 76 Mercury Monarch that I intend to take the front disk brakes off of. This car also has power steering. My question is will this power steering setup fit my 67 mustang? If not a direct bolt on, can it be made to fit with modifications?

I think this was brought up on the old forum at one time, it was possible I believe, you may want to try a search over there, it will probably take you a while, but you may find something-the search feature over there never worked too good.Definately remove the rear end too if it is a front loader 8 or 9", they will fit the earlier cars.

I was considerign this at one point too - you might be able to find my post on the old forum. At any rate, if I remember correctly, it could be done, but one person who did it said it wasn't worth all of the trouble they had to go through. I agree with the other poster though that you may want to snag the rear if it's an 8" or 9", although the gearing will suck.
