If you take a peek at the Mach 1 registry at:

http://www.homestead.com/1970mach1/home.html and the site owners Mach 1 at:

http://groups.msn.com/1970MustangMach1/shoebox.msnw?pgmarket=fr-ca

Alot of your questions are shown in the pics. I tagged what I found below. "My car" references may not be correct.

Found this article, How to Detail a 351 Cleveland Engine MM 8/94. If you'd like a copy of the article let me know.

3. Specify Autolite --Air cleaner side ( Pass. or Drivers??) Driver's side per the article

5. Air cleaner front sticker (On my Mach 1)

6. Voltage regulator decal-- On voltage reg but where?? (On my Mach 1)

7. Coil sticker-- On Coil (Vert, horz. ??)
Horizontal/parallel to the bottom of the coil aligned with the bottom of the coil so that when it is mounted the sticker is visible between the clamp and the bottom of the coil.

8. Jack Instruct--Pass side of trunk lid (From Raytags Mach1)

Although my 70 is dead on the side of the road, I recall that the tire pressure deal goes on the passenger door edge, above the latch, similar to the data "plate" decal on the driver's side. The service specs - if that is the large black and silver decal, about 3x4, it goes on the driver's shock tower, the front of the car side of it, horizonal, (although some careless plant assembly has them going vertically, from time to time. It is in the same location as about every other year of classic mustang. If the service spec decal is an air pollution control type decal, about 1.5 inches by 1 inch or something like that, I believe it goes on the air cleaner snorkle. The trunk cert. sticker goes in the center of the trunk lid, on the bumper edge "triangle" recess (well, at least it did on the car I copied)

Thanks for all the info. In my lazyness I forgot to look in the back of the NPD catalog. Under each decal it thas a short description on its location. With this info and this sites I'll piece it together.
