I have new complete front frame sections and have see a difference in shock tower width..

I have an old curved chrome one that has been on the car 20 years. I tried to replace it with a black one but the new one was just over 1/4" wider than the one I was replacing and didn't want to go in without some stretching of the fenders (although the new Export Brace fit like yours did). I went with the one in the link because I also think because it will be nice removing it with 2 bolts up top vs 6 bolts that go under the fenders.

I do like my engine bay way better now without the chrome.

I got info the dimensions for 64-66 as 40" to 40-1/4"
