I am putting an MSD 6A ignition controller in my car and I am looking for suggestions on a good place to mount it and the coil in a 65 coupe.
Thanks!

Not sure about the 65, but on the 67 it fits nicely on the drivers side inner fender, just forward of the windshield washer bottle.

In my 1968 fastback, I put it on the passenger side interior above the kick panel.

Do you want it hidden or 'out there' for the world to see? If you want it "hidden" I'd suggest the passenger side fenderwell, behind the shock tower and under the hinge. Paint it black and very few will notice it. Want it seen?... Put it on the radiator support, driver's side, outside the engine compartment just behind the grill (opposite the voltage regulator). This location will be visible even with the hood closed and will also help to keep the unit cool. The coil can stay in the stock location.

I hung mine on the driver side fender, and then slapped an overflow can right on top of it....there have been quite a few people who haven't seen it and asked why I wasn't running an MSD with my motor setup ::

I mounted mine on the passenger side forward portion of the shock tower.
