I spent the afternoon cleaning and detailing the car for an evening run to the local Saturday evening cruise in.. a weekly gathering of rods and classics.. a fun time to be sure. I spent hours cleaning the interior, wheels, and engine compartment. After drying the car I started her up to put back in the garage until this evening.. What's that noise?? A loud whirring coming from the front of the engine... Darn water pump is going out!!!! Oh well...time to pick up a new pump and a 12 pack and turn the race on in the garage and bust a couple of knuckles... Maybe next weekend.. The weather has been so wet here in Virginia these cruise ins have become very special when we actually have nice weathter....

Thanks for letting me rant...(cheap water pump!!! only lasted 13,000 miles. The new one has a life time warrenty)..

Buy an Edelbrock Victor series and be done with it!
