We had our Mustang Mania show this weekend...great weather, good friends, beautiful cars! Unbeknownst to me my friends asked one of the knowledgeable judges from Albuquerque to judge my car just as harshly as he could to look for every possible little flaw. He spent a lot of time and could only come up with a 22 point deduction. Most of the points would not be taken off at a show. Murphy took a First Place award! He also had a comment to me afterwards that the judges at Pensacola were idiots. It made my weekend!

I love it when a plan comes together!

Have you fixed your sway bar bushings by now? If so, I wonder how many points they took off for that...

Thanks, yes, it certainly does help finding out that you're right about something like this.

Nope, I didn't have time to replace the bushings yet. In addition, while trailering back from Pensacola the second to last day it rained all day and then the next day we were fighting 25-30 mph winds, dust, and swarms of big bugs. Murphy didn't come off the trailer until the morning of our show. I cleaned what I could Friday night in the dark and the next morning opened the hood and couldn't believe the dust and dirt in the engine. I'm sure some of the points are for dirt that normally wouldn't be there. I haven't seen the scoring sheet yet, but I know some of the points are for the bushings. I didn't clean underneath at all, either, as I had a show to run. BTW, they liked our trophies a lot, too--sure beat the heck out of those things they gave out at Pensacola. Hey, congrats on the garage approval, save room for Trouble for when he visits. *G*
