bought mustang book other day/65 looked like it had t-bird rear lights/poss 65-66 t-bird/seems to me ive seen others like that/most peop[le prob. wouldn't like that/im not for sure i do yet//any idea what year these would be just in case///thanks //gary s.

Shelby built one car to see what they lookied like..... didn't like it :)

1. 65 T-bird lights just like those installed on the 68-70 Shelbys

2. IMHO installed directly to the 65-66 taillight panels they look cheap and add ons.

3. Best job I've ever seen on thes installed them from the rear (inside) lips were formed and mounting studs weldeed to the rear of the taillight panel. Mounted in this way I thought they look decent

4. BE aware that used ones are often in poor shape and the prices on good units have gone up in the recent years (thanks Ebay :(

thanks jeff///prob wont go this route//i can see where they would look better with a lip like u said instead of just stuck on there///+ive already bought all new mustang tailight stuff/every piece of it///thanks///gary s.
