i have a 68 mustang that needs to be panited.as i went to take all the chrome of i saw that the driver side front fender had a 302 engine emblem and the word mustang in script,the passanger side had no 302 emblem and the word
mustang in regular letters not script.so which side is
right? ...help...

68 had mustang in a script.... does the side w/out script have marker lights?
also, 68 was the first year for the 302 in the mustang if I am not mistaken...

There should be the "302" emblem, and the Mustang script on each fender of the car.

yes it does have side markers on each front fenders.also this car (68) came with factory air and power steering.i was
told that this is rare.is it?.also it does have a 302 with a factory 4 barrel carb.i have rebuilt the engine,it runns real good.i installed a holley 650 with a edalbrock intake.
all i need now is a n.o.s.system and headers.
anyway thanks for the info on the script...........

Factory air and power steering aren't really what you would call rare on a 68, but they do add value to the car.
