Hi guys, I’d like to do a compatibility check before I order anything and risk discovering that there’s a fitment issue. Here is the parts list:

- 1967 Mustang Coupe

- I’d like to run 99-04 GT/V6 front disk brakes using the Mustang Steve Kit. This uses a 11” rotor along with a pretty large size PBR caliper with 44.5mm dual pistons, if I remember correctly.

- 15x7 Vintage45 wheels with 3.875 BS. The Coker wheel site states that these rims have a 5/8” clearance between the rotor mounting surface and the spokes.

Has anyone used this specific combination before and able to confirm whether this combo will or will not fit?

If the 99-04 GT/V6 brakes won’t work with these wheels, what’s a cost effective alternative that will?

Thank you for your help everyone.

Whoops, just noticed I put 15x8 in the title. I meant 15x7, consistent with the body of the post above.

Thanks

I don't think anyone (including Mustang Steve) uses SN 95 GT/V6 brakes. They require too much of the hub be turned down to fit inside the rotor .... an unsafe amount.
I'd recommend a set of original type KH system from Opentracker or CSRP.
