I heard that they canceled Mustang Wings and Wheels and moved to Santa Moncia on July 28th. Is there will be a Mustang Show? What club will host the show? I need more information about this. Thanks.

The South Bay Mustang Owners (SBMO) club had a Wings and Wheels show at the Santa Monica Museum of Flight last year. This year it will be at South High School in Torrance on the 28th. One of the other clubs in the area also has a Wings and Wheels show, but I'm not sure who it is.
The Air Museum that was affiliated with SBMO (South Bay Mustang Owners) and BCMC (Beach Cities Mustang Club) lost their lease and are in search of a new home. Due to this circumstance, SBMO moved their show to Torrance High School. For info on SBMO and their alternate show, go here:

BCMC is not having the Mustang Wings & Wheels show this year in order to concentrate on having the biggest and best Mustangs At The Queen Mary show ever (maybe even a future MCA National!), which will be later in the year. BCMC will be having another Mustang Wings & Wheels show in 2003 however. The BCMC website is undergoing a major rebuild, but the old site can be accessed here:

Thanks for info and I'm kind of disappointed that there will be no Mustang Wings and Wheels this year. I went there last year and it was fun. Hopefully it will works out next year. I'll be there on July 28th in Torrance.
By the way, last year's Mustang Wings & Wheels show that was hosted by BCMC was at the Los Alamitos air field. This was the show that featured the Tuskgegee Airmen, Eleanore and the Austin Powers Jaguar, The Bullit car, a mobile dyno service, and Cammie Edelbrock hosting a corporate tent. There were over 300 cars entered between the vintage, late model and special interest catagories. You can expect that level of partisipation in the future as well as magazine and radio coverage.

This in all likelyhood will be the permenant home of this show, and will be returning in 2003 as I mentioned before.

I really hope so! I went to the show last year and had a great time. Los Al is my old stomping grounds, it is where I grew up and where my Mustang addiction started. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif I have a dream of someday having pic of my Mustang next to a P51/forums/images/icons/cool.gif just like Steve. fd

I have some say in how/where the show goes, so I will be doing all I can to make sure it stays there.
