Our trip to Alaska in Aug/Sept was the first vacation which was non-Mustang car show related since 1996.
But being the addicts we are, we still had to make note of those we "found."
Maybe they belong to VMFer's?
Couldn't find anyone home at this place. I was afraid we were going to get shot while "snooping" around. Awesome cars! There was also a 69 coupe, which looked like it had some major modifications going on in the garage.

One morning in Palmer, AK we came upon a collection of Corvettes getting ready for a cruise. This one caught my attention.

Very cool pics, Joyce! I generally don't like that year of Corvettes but as a Vietnam vet I appreciate the spirit of the owner.

Wasn't Alaska beautiful? I spent 2 weeks there this Summer (mid July). Very nice. I was floored by all of the sea planes that are there...

I spent the summer of '70 in Palmer. Talk about a trip! Crossed into Canada from Snag,ND. 1500 mi. of gravel road with potholes that could swallow a VW. Sure wild & wooly back then, but all paved now i understand.
