I wanted to start this thread because as time passes I forget how far I have came. Not as far as many on here but maybe I can inspire someone like this forum has inspired me. I would of kicked a dent in my car or sold it out of anger if i didnt have this forum so here it goes.

How it started, saved for awhile to buy a 65 mustang, 67 camaro, 72 chevelle or Nova. The deal would determine the car......

Playing around to see what stripes would look like on this color. Funny thing is I actually thought the car was white from the pictures, I almost didnt buy it.

Immediatly started the tear down as about 30 minutes in south florida heat and the car started to over heat.

Now the more i drove the car, the more uncomfortable i was with how it handled, i thought maybe they just handle like crap. This forum informed me otherwise. Lets take a look at that suspension and brakes...

Scary.....

Well lets do the suspension I guess.... Opentracker it is.

Monte Carlo bar and 1 piece export brace

Car had granada brakes so just replaced everything and made it look PURTY

This wont due. Also this is probably why it stopped like crap, disc brakes need more pressure.

Back on the ground and looking good.

Drive shaft removed and sent to be balanced.

Mustang steve called on for power brakes and roller pedal

Tranny removed and sent to shop to get resealed

why not start on the interior as well?

Paint on engine could use a little touch up. Its easy they say.....

and its out....

Love a pic heavy thread! Car is looking great, particularly the new seat covers. Was the under dash LED lighting plug-n-play?

Also, I find it funny that a bag of cash placed in a high-yield bank account would appreciate much more slowly than when it is converted into a vintage Mustang.

It's the classic console one for the 64, 65, 66 mustang.

I like the painless kit, it gets alot or crap on here but I think that's because it normally 800 plus dollars. I wouldn't of paid that. But for 350 I will. If I had to pay full price I would of gone with stock wiring or maybe the American wire harness.

Looks great!

I like your quote: "looks the same but its a whole lot different"... nothing but true! Sometimes all the work that takes to make a car drive better is hardly noticed but Oh man does it make a difference
