Well this certainly isn't the first time I've done something pretty stupid, but this will be the first time I'm claiming my due award! /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
About a week ago I discovered that the low pressure power steering hose was cracked and leaking right where it clamps onto the metal hose going into the ram unit. Well, after fixing it, I guess I didn't tighten the hose up tight enough. Today I was hanging a U in my street, and I guess I turned too far, and the pressure built up and the hose shot off. I didn't notice it until the steering suddenly got tight and smoke poored out of the hood and from behind. It ended up giving my headers and everything on the driver's side engine a good coating of fluid. There is a trail of fluid coming from down the street all the way to my parking spot now /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
And you know what the greatest part was? My friend, who is a ricer guy, was in the passenger seat /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif...oh well though. This reinforces my theory though that my car is determined to embarass me nearly every time someone gets around me and my car, especially those who are into imports.
So, do I get my first award??? /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Similar thing happened to me 3 weeks ago, hanging a u-turn in the road, my high pressure line got burnt by my header, and smoke came pouring from the car. Luckily it was at 2 in the moring so only my wife brother and I saw it happen. but now the curb side is stained a light tan color from my parking space halfway down the block.
