I won't be offended if one of you calls me an idiot, but what is the name of the supports that go from the front of the cowl to the inside of the fenders?

Its just that the left one on my car was bent once because of an accident and now its bending again.

inner fender? available from most mustang suppliers.

I don't think that's what I mean. I'm talking about the brace...some of the 65'-67' chrome those. The difference is that on those it goes from one fender to the back to the other fender.

The standard ones are called shock tower braces, the one piece ones are called "export braces"
All the mustang places have them $29-39

The left one is called "Velma" and the right one is called "Tracy" /forums/images/icons/smile.gif






Shock tower braces for the two piece and Export Brace for the one-piece.
