I used Autosol polish and some elbow grease on mine and they turned out great. A few years ago, I had some old ones buffed out at the local chrome shop and that helped, too. But if they're NOS you shouldn't need to go to that step.
Need advice on restoring a set of NOS sill plates
got a set of NOS sill plates for my 68. Have never been installed but have some shelf wear on them. They are a little dull as well. How do I make these look nice and close to original?

they are Old Stock and never installed but do have shelf wear. Thanks for the tip, I will try it out.
