Hi,
as you visited our site, you read most of what we know today about T-5s. In the detailed registry showing all VINs, you can do your own research. As you may have noticed there is a certain sequence in DSOs on an almost quarterly base, although there is another assumption that the 90-99 DSOs refer to sales volumes in that specific year, although both theories have not yet been made waterproof.. There is yet no evidence. I have checked with some Mustang clubs around the world. The DSOs you see on our site are not specific for T-5s nor for Europe. You may find them elsewhere in the world as well, although there is a certain number of 97-99 in the Australian/New Zealand area. Yet no evidence, again or registry of DSOs.
Don't forget the South of the Border Registry of Dave Hammar and the Netherland assembled few early Mustangs.
Regarding the engine codes, there is indeed no different engine for a T-5. I remember only one year, where a lower compression engine was available vor export only, but I would need to check my binders again (memory access fault again), We have also not yet done specific research on smog equipment. One would think that this was mandatory for export cars, however it is not yet researched nor prooven.
Gives us some reason to watch out for this.
